Because presently only one veterinarian practices at Ellesmere Animal Clinic, we can care for the following types of pets only:

You can call us at anytime during our operating hours to schedule an appointment. If we are not able to receive your call please leave us a message and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible to set up an appointment  convenient to your schedule. You may also book an appointment  online through our 'Make an Appointment' service or by sending an email to ellesmerevet_99@rogers.com. Follow-up appointments will be made in-person at our clinic automatically.

We have a groomer 2 days of the week, who has more than 15 years of experience grooming dogs. Please call for an appointment.

Open Hospital

Open Hospital

Ellesmere Animal Clinic operates an open hospital. This means that our team welcomes owners to be with their animals during any medical procedure, whether a simple vaccination or a minor surgery. If you have an Emergency, we will help as much as we can. If we cannot accommodate your needs, we will connect you with a clinic which can fulfill those for you.

Smartvet Service

Ellesmere Animal Clinic has partnered with Smartvet to provide after hours phone or an e-consult. Please follow the instructions to use Smartvet services:

  1. Visit https://smartvet.ca/ and register an account to request an appointment with a veterinarian

  2. Call 647-695-5411  to speak to an RVT (registered veterinary technician) who can triage and assist with booking a virtual consultation with a veterinarian. After-hours, calling in is our preference because it ensures that cases are properly triaged before entering our veterinarian’s queue. We will also assist with physical transfers when appropriate so pet owners aren’t left to their own devices finding care.

Ellesmere Animal Clinic accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
 

We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations before we render service. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
